Lucy has a wide knowledge of the Far East, and her specialist area is her native Philippines.

Nigel Sutherland

Managing Director, Nigel Sutherland's initial enthusiasm for the Far East drove him to set up a travel agency in the UK specialising in promoting tours in the area.

He has a wide knowledge of the Philippines particularly, having visited many of the islands and main towns and cities of that country over the years.

Nigel is continually working to make useful contacts amongst local individuals, and specialist tour providers, enabling him to develop the business and provide comprehensive holiday packages in South East Asia.

Far East Trails was set up to promote specialist tours and holidays in South East Asia.

Based in Scotland, UK, with a sister office in Manila, and working closely with Tour Providers, Hoteliers, Specialist Operators, and Local Associates, the aim of the business is to provide a friendly, and personal service to clients looking to explore the fabulous part of the world that is the Far East.

Far East Trails is a trading name for Philippine Trails Ltd, so named because the Philippines was the company's initial specialist area.

The company is a registered member of the Travel Trust Association.

Philippine Trails Ltd is a registered member of the Travel Trust Association.

This means that you can book your holiday secure in the knowledge that Travel Trust Association will protect you in the unlikely event of a member becoming insolvent.

Should a member of the Travel Trust Association for any reason financially fail or cease trading, the Travel Trust Association will liaise with the suppliers and Tour Operators to ensure that your holiday goes ahead unaffected.
